The Plumtree Fish & Chip House is a family establishment, run by proprietors Peter & Anna and managers Tim & Liz along with all the wonderful team, that have been delighting customers with this Great British classic for 18 years.
Our fish is delivered fresh, daily, from sustainable fisheries, we use the very best potatoes and only fry in healthy rapeseed oil.
Your food is cooked to order to allow for maximum quality with our fish encased in Plumtree’s signature golden batter, complete with the finest thick cut chips that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside and our perfectly homemade mushy peas.
The same is to be expected at The Plumtree restaurant adjacent to the shop, run by Anna and her daughters, the girls provide an excellent service with that personal family touch. All food is cooked to order with homemade favourites – The Plumtree fishcake, tartar sauce, potato & herb salad and traditional pies, exclusive to the restaurant.
Dietary requirements and vegetarian options like our spinach and feta pie can be prepared upon notification.
To compliment our seafood menu, we have a selection of fine wines and champagnes.
We are proud to say that our desserts, ice creams and sorbets are homemade daily using only the finest ingredients with cakes such as: Coconut & Rose Water, Italian Coffee & Walnut and a Baileys Chocolate Torte.

Contains omegas 3, 6 and 9, which reduce cholesterol and help to maintain healthy joint, brain and heart functions. As it is high in mono-unsaturated fats, it is one of the only unblended oils that can be heated to a high frying temperature and not spoil its antioxidants, character, colour or flavour.
